Standard Course Schedule
Prepare for the CPA Exam
This 30-credit post-baccalaureate accounting certificate can be completed in as little as 20 months by enrolling in two courses per term. However, we recommend that students with a full-time work schedule take only one course per semester, at least until the intermediate level is completed. It is also recommended that students not enroll in Intermediate Accounting during the same semester as Cost Accounting because these courses are very demanding.
Please note that SCPS may cancel, modify, or make substitutions as deemed necessary in any given semester, which may affect the length of time to complete the certificate.
